Westminster Presbyterian Church is a congregation of Gulf Coast Presbyterian Church in America.
The Presbyterian Church in America was founded in 1973 by some 250 churches-- Westminster among that number-- with 55,000 members in order to remain fully loyal to the sound doctrine of the Reformed Faith as set forth in the Westminster Confession of Faith and the Larger and Shorter Catechisms and to be obedient to the Great Commission.
The Presbyterian Church in America presently numbers some 1,500 churches with 3,180 ministers, 252,200 members and just under 1,000 missionaries-- the largest Presbyterian missionary force in history.
